Auto GPS in MODX

Using addressGPS to auto-set GPS coordinates

addressGPS Template Variables

addressGPS is a handy way for you and your clients to simply input addresses, while having their GPS coordinates automatically saved also. It looks for the presence of an address Template Variable and if detected, retrieves the GPS coordinates and saves them in latitude and longitude Template Variables respectively.

Simply install addressGPS via the MODX Package Manager or download here.

One thing I forgot to add is a checkbox Template Variable to set wether or not GPS values should be overridden on save. Basically allows you to de-activate on a per resource basis. This is handy for if you need to slightly alter the coordinates for some reason.
Also may use categories to separate "editor" TVs such as address from non editor TVs suchs as latitude and longitude
